Youtube HACKED

As the title says, a hacker from southern Sahara known as Kuroi'SH has attacked the most popular Youtube Music videos and taken down some ( eg: Despacito )
The attack has taken place this morning.

If they are primarily music videos, I am thinking VEVO was compromised. This was most likely done via spear phishing or phishing. Other forms of social engineering could have been used.

People click crap all the time and then login to fake pages. Since the accounts in question that were attacked specifically use YouTube, putting together a Google-related (even YouTube) login phishing page was likely not hard. Then VEVO was attacked. How exactly this happened, we will not know unless the attacker himself exposes this intel.
